Challenge
When TerraCosta, a brand that produces almond butter and granola using the best ingredients from the Mediterranean, approached us, they had a unique challenge: they wanted to communicate the origin of their products from the Spanish Mediterranean region while also appearing modern and appealing to a global audience.
Outcome
To address TerraCosta's challenge, we conducted research to connect the Spanish Mediterranean with US consumers. We found that the blue of the sea and sky, along with the yellow of the sun and beaches, were highly evocative.
We developed a brand strategy emphasizing TerraCosta's healthier, flavorful ingredients. The design used a blue and yellow palette with Mediterranean-inspired patterns for a modern yet timeless look.
The final packaging combined matte finishes and bold typography to highlight the brand’s natural qualities, evoking the beauty of the Mediterranean while appealing to modern audiences. The result successfully communicated TerraCosta's values.
